ScanPoint® Urology Suite
The ScanPoint® Urology Suite is Diagnostic Ultrasound's latest innovation in urological care. The Urology Suite includes:
BVI 6100 BladderScan® - By non-invasively determining bladder volume, the BVI 6100 prevents unnecessary catheterisation, identifies undiagnosed retention, and reduces the risk of urinary tract infection. It is also helpful in managing patients with chronic urological conditions, such as incontinence. Images from bladder volume exams can be viewed and printed using ScanPoint®, Diagnostic Ultrasound's online imaging and calibration service.
BVI 6200
Paediatric - Use the Paediatric BladderScan® to determine a child's bladder volume without catheterisation. The Paediatric BladderScan® is optimised for use on children up to 48" (122cm) tall and weighing up to 60 lbs. (27 kg). The Paediatric BladderScan® eliminates un-necessary trauma to paediatric patients and lowers the cost of care by minimising infection and other complications of catheterisation.
BVI 6300 BladderScan® - The BVI 6300 is a handheld, non-invasive ultrasound instrument that is prescribed by a physician to enable the patient monitor his or her own bladder fullness. Based on the healthcare provider's prescription, the BVI 6300 is programmed with information about the individual user's target bladder volume via ScanPoint® and measurements are displayed as a percentage of the target bladder volume.
BVI 6400 Multiple Voice Annotated BladderScan® - The BVI 6400 instrument can hold ten or more patient exams, each of which is associated with a voice annotation. After completing a patient exam, the provider simply records a brief voice message to identify the patient and other relevant exam information, and then proceeds to scan another patient, if desired. The voice recording is replayed when the associated exam is viewed on ScanPoint®, so providers can download multiple exams in one sitting.
By providing non-invasive bladder imaging, the ScanPoint® Urology Suite helps healthcare professionals give the best care to patients with urological conditions.
